“It’s a girl, honey!!!!” yelled Arthur. Arthur and Mary were too poor to pay a nurse to deliver the baby, so Arthur had too. Even if they could they wouldn’t because it is much cheaper. Arthur grabbed the blanket off the chair that was by the bed and wrapped the precious baby in it. He gave her to Mary. “She’s so beautiful!!!!” she exclaimed while a single tear rolled down her right cheek. The gorgeous baby had bright blue eyes like her father and dirty blonde hair like her mother. “She will be called Ginerva!” informed Mary. Then Arthur whispered, “Ginny….”
Many years later Mary caught scarlet fever and died quickly. Before that she had another child, a boy, Arthur Jr. Ginny was now five years old.
(10 years later)
“Ginny?” called out Arthur. Ginny replied by saying. “Yeah, Papa? What do you need?” she was in her room which she shared with her brother and Father. Ginny and her family were a poor family who desperately depended on the king to survive. They rented out a two room cottage in the outskirts of a small kingdom, Jungahut, in Britain. The king was a cruel, unfair man who was not pleasant to people who didn’t do exactly what he wanted. He also made the residents pay very high taxes. Unfortunately, Ginny’s father couldn’t pay it off, so now he is working in the King’s fields for a very low wage that barely feeds his family each week. So to get a little more cash Ginny is working in the Castle as a maid/servant for the Royal Family
One cruel hard afternoon of dusting and brushing frantically, Ginny was finishing up on the third floor she heard masculine voices whispering in a deserted room. She quietly tiptoed to the door and put her ear up to it and listened. “The king has ordered me to round up some men for a mission. He wants up to capture Friar Jod and force him to show us where he hid the Holy Grail!” A low voiced man said that. Another asked, “ But, Roggar, where do we find this friar…dude?” There were many murmurs of agreement that filled the room. “Shhhh! He’s in Camelot—“Roggar told them irritatedly. “The thing is Camelot is our sworn enemy…” An older aged man explained. “Kargeth, you need to use your brain, we disguise ourselves…” Ginny was astonished at what she heart and inclined closer to hear better. They went on. Roggar spoke again by saying, “King Choriandus said that after we find the Holy Grail we are to dispose of the Fat Friar. We are going tomorrow.” More murmurs were arousing in the air.
Ginny heard the men’s footsteps approaching the door to exit, so she quickly scattered down the nearby stairs. She pretended to be sweeping a corner she cleaned already when the mysterious men passed her, some with suspicious faces. Ginny quickly finished up and went home, empty bellied. She helped her dad prepare little dinner they had and served it. It was a loaf of bread and some soup. There was little conversation because both Ginny and her dad worked hard that day and were exhausted. When Arthur was at work, his son was with some friends who took care of him until he was done. Silently, they got ready for bed after the dishes were cleaned and got into bed. In of matter of minutes Ginny’s father and brother were both fast asleep. It took Ginny awhile to fall asleep. She had so much on her mind. By time she fell asleep she decided to go after the men and stop them from getting the Holy Grail.
Ginny awoke suddenly to a weird noise and she got up and looked out the window and saw a squirrel nearby making the racket. It was sunset, time to get up. She quickly remembered yesterday, and assembled supplies for her long and dangerous journey. She ended up with a map of Britain, money, a little bread, a compass, many other instruments. Ginny quickly got a scratch paper and wrote a message to her dad:
Dad,
I’m off on a journey to save many people’s lives; I will try to stay safe. I will send you letters on updates. Don’t be alarmed. I am the one to do this. I love you and Arthur very much.
Love,
Ginny

That was her final letter after many papers were crumpled and words scratched out.On her way, she already missed her family. “What if I never see them again?” she thought to herself. A single tear tumbled down her soft cheek. The day quickly came and Ginny was soon hungry and tired. By the time it was lunch she stopped and ate some of the bread she brought. While eating she was thinking about Camelot. She remembered the stories her father recently told her about the Siege Perilous and how some people die when sitting on it, and one specific person wouldn’t die while sitting on it. She also remembered the oath that ever Knight must swear upon before they become a knight or, sir. This Oath is called ‘the Knights Chivalric Oath.’ Maybe someday she will grow up and marry a man who would be a knight for the King of Camelot. She was very close to Camelot. It was just a few towns away from where she is from. She wondered if she was ahead o
