He saved me from the talons of a black dragon in mid-flight.
He took me to his castle and showed me Camelot
His kingdom built on providence, his crown by duty wrought.
And I? Bespelled by a wizard Merlin himself feared,
the type of girl who would fall in love with old Thrushbeard,
trapped in a tower amidst roseless thorns,
fed poisoned apples and by birth pre-sworn
to meet a fell fate at the hands of a fiend,
was finally saved. Checkmate! I am Queened!
